Heike Schön

Shareholder and Managing Director

Heike Schön, has worked in management positions in clinical research for more than 20 years.  Her experience ranges from conducting national and international Phase I clinical trials all the way to registration and post‑marketing activities in various indications. She had positions within the contract research organisations (CROs) and in the biotechnology industry.  Her previous positions also included operational and general management. She holds a master’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in business administration. Since 2002, she has been active in the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) where she also served as a member of the Board of Trustees and as its Chair in 2010. Heike is a regular speaker at international conferences and publishes within clinical research and medical device magazines.

Myrthe Trompert

Shareholder and Member of the Management Board

Myrthe Trompert has worked as a lawyer in the clinical research industry for more than 15 years and as senior legal counsel for countries outside the USA for a global CRO. Since 2010 Myrthe is the CEO and Senior legal consultant of Salvius Legal, a company specialized in contract management support for the clinical trial industry. As such, she has gained thorough knowledge on clinical trial processes and on contractual and regulatory requirements for performing clinical trials globally.

Prof. Kurt Miller

Shareholder and Member of the Management Board

Since 1993, Kurt Miller has been a Professor of Urology and Department Chair at the Benjamin Franklin Medical Center’s Department of Urology in Berlin, Germany. Until 2019, he has been the Chair of the Department of Urology for the entire Charité University Hospital (Campus Benjamin Franklin, Campus Mitte, and Campus Virchow Klinikum). Between 1998 and 2004, he was the Chair of the Association of Urological Oncology.  He was a Member of the Board of the German Urological Association between 2001 and 2003 and a Member of the Board of the German Cancer Society between 2004 and 2008.  Kurt Miller has authored more than 300 publications and is the co-editor of the German Textbook of Urology. He serves as a peer reviewer for the German Research Association and for several scientific journals. Kurt Miller has also been the principal investigator of numerous clinical trials in uro-oncology.

Dr. Christiane Juhls

Project Director

Christiane Juhls has been leading and managing international projects for more than 20 years. She has considerable experience as a scientist and Director of Translational Research and Development in the Biotech industry. A veterinarian by training, she has developed immunological medicines for both prevention and therapy up to the early clinical stage. She has profound hands-on knowledge in preparing the translation of preclinical results in the early clinical application, in transitioning laboratory-produced molecules in formulated GMP-produced active pharmaceutical ingredients and in transfer of technologies. Her experience in interactions with CMOs, CROs, other vendors and regulatory authorities has advanced several projects. Christiane has mentored small-sized companies with medical products in pre-clinical phases. Moreover, she has a sound background on project funding from both the applicants and the funders side, with a focus on infectious diseases, vaccine development and antibiotic resistance.
